omg i love jazz sfm let me tell you about jazz

if you like those two i think you'll like sonny rollins. his best albums are the bridge and saxophone colossus. he's very by-the-book, but crazy talented.
if you like coltrane then why not check out his wife alice? she's made some collab albums with john that you can use as an introduction to her stuff.
another classic jazz dude i like is kenny burrell. he's made a collab album with john coltrane that's one of my favorite albums of all time.
charles mingus is also a good intro to jazz if only because he's very very prolific. guy's made like sixty albums, it's crazy. he's more out-there than davis or coltrane but it's still easy to listen to.
let me know if you want more suggestions, i love to talk about jazz!

My favorite is the collaborations between Thelonious Monk and Art Blakey.

Wynton Marsalis is neo-classical jazz and was pretty popular when I was in college.

Umm, my favorite is Dave Brubeck. I could listen to him all day. His most famous songs are probably "Take Five" and "Blue Rondo a la Turk." I also really love his "Jazz Impressions of Japan" album.

Avishai Cohen. I would start with his album Continuo.

Any of the great vocalists from the 40s and 50s. Holliday and Armstrong come to mind, later Nina Simone.

Bebo Valdés

Victor Wooten is a guy who redefines the electric bass guitar.
