I have a hard time watching a film all the way through unless I am watching it with other people. I watched like...an hour of The Conjuring before wandering off to do other things.

What films are they?

Yeah, I am a television show person, I tend to get distracted during films... I can marathon television shows like a pro tho...

I also have to be in the right mood to watch a film, which is why I have bought like 10 DVDs that I still haven't watched, because I haven't been in the right mood for the films. I know I will enjoy them, I just can't get to actually sitting down and watching them.

The films are among others: King Kong (1933), The Bride of Frankenstein (Whale 1935), Casablanca (Curtiz 1943), Psycho (Hitchcock 1960), Terminator 2* (Cameron 1991), Un femme et un femme (Godard 1961), Avatar (Cameron 2009) and Trainspotting (Boyle 1996)

*But not the first one, so I wonder what the difference in sound is as we are watching the second instead of first...

Oh man. Trainspotting is so disturbing. *shudder*

I remember a media class in college where we had to watch Aliens, but not Alien. The teacher told us that the sequel has more of a traditional horror-film structure, and thus was a better fit with the theme of the course. And then she added, "Bust mostly I just like the second one better."

As it is a Music and Sound course I am assuming it is because the second one has a better soundtrack...

But yeah our Professors usually only makes us watch films they enjoy so we do in some subjects have some odd mandatory films.
