That is fantastically reasonable (and part of the point I was trying to make earlier, that low ages of consent are a problem because they are associated with unclear laws that leave the door open for abuse, rather than loosely structured laws that can make room for unusual situations while still protecting people).

I honestly don't have many problems with a low age of consent for its own sake - my frustration is just that given the nature of sexuality in most of the world today, they don't really protect people enough.
