Upon further reflection, I think that Scott McNeil should've just voiced the whole cast. Including Misa.

This is one of the single best things I have ever seen written.

I think Quatre needs a 'Gently Chastise' Note. It could be pale lavender and maybe have a nice tasteful border around the cover, and it would double as his scrapbook. And rather than hiding it in a desk drawer with a circuit wired to burn it if anyone finds it, he just keeps it under his pillow with a Post-It note that says "Please Don't Touch, Thanks!" attached.

"Dear Gently Chastise Note: Please have Heero miss his morning train by just a minute today. But it's all right, because another one will come in just ten minutes."

"Dear Gently Chastise Note: If it's not too much trouble, do you think that you could please make Mr. Treize run out of rose-scented bath oil today, because while I understand that his love for war has the best of intentions at heart, it still causes a lot of people to die and I think that something ought to be done to show him that war is a bad thing.

P.S. Please also let Lady Une decide on one personality and stick with it because it turns out that I miscounted my Christmas cards and I don't have enough to send one to both of her personalities."

You could totally do an entire crossover with this.

It was official. Quatre was up to something.

Heero Yuy, Trowa Barton, and Wufei Chang had seated themselves around a table in the best coffee shop in the Sanq Kingdom, their first real reunion since the war had ended.

“It’s got to be Quatre,” Wufei said stubbornly, poking at his sandwich with the toothpick. “There’s no other explanation for it.”

“Hn,” Trowa agreed.

“I was late for my train three times last week,” Heero grumbled, stirring a packet of cream into his coffee. “And I’ve been feeling inexplicably guilty about always going off on my own during the war. Not to mention all the self-destructing.”

“I’ve been feeling inexplicably guilty about not bothering to dodge when Cathy throws knives at me,” Trowa agreed. “So guilty that I stayed in bed all morning and missed practice.

“I’ve been feeling inexplicably guilty about being so angry all the time,” Wufei put in. “And I keep getting this urge to hug you guys.”

Everyone paused.

“Yeah, it’s got to be Quatre,” they all agreed.

Treize Kushrenada wandered by at that moment, looking surprisingly good for a guy who was supposed to be dead, but that wasn’t the first thing that the three boys at the table noticed. No, the first thing they noticed was the smell; normally Treize smelled like roses, but today it was more along the lines of—well, soap. Normal, ordinary soap, and a lot of it.

“What happened to you?” Wufei demanded.

Treize stopped, looking depressed. “Every store I visit is out of rose-scented bath oil. Bathing isn’t any fun at all anymore. And I feel inexplicably guilty about my opinions towards war. …You haven’t seen Miss Une around here, perchance, have you?”

Heero frowned. “You mean Colonel Une?”

“Or Lady Une?” Trowa added.

Treize shook his head. “She texted me this morning, something about spontaneously resolving her personalities into one. She’s going by Miss Une now.”

Zechs Marquis came over to their table, coffee in hand, and shook his head. “Hey, out of curiosity, have any of you guys been feeling inexplicably guilty about the stuff you did back during the war? Because man, have I been guilt-tripping these days over trying to drop Libra on the earth. Also, yesterday morning I spilled coffee on my favorite white pants and now the stain just won’t come out. It’s awful.”

Wufei slammed his fist down onto the table. “Something must be done about Quatre!” he exclaimed.

At that precise moment, Quatre Raberba Winner walked in the door, smiling happily and clutching what appeared to be a frilly lavender scrapbook to his chest. He had a blue pen tucked behind one ear and, the moment he saw them, he made a beeline for their table. Duo Maxwell followed along behind, looking smug.

“Hi, guys!” Quatre chirped. “It’s so nice to see all of you again! What a coincidence that you would all end up here at this table at this exact time on this exact day!”

Wufei glared at Duo. “He’s up to something and you’re not doing a thing about it. What gives?”

Duo shrugged. “Hey, not my problem, man.”

Heero’s eyes narrowed. “You mean he hasn’t made you feel guilty, too? You committed just as many atrocities as the rest of us.”

Duo laughed. “Maybe so, but I’m the Shinigami. I don’t get involved in his affairs; I just sit back and laugh at all the crazy stuff he does with that thing.”

Quatre smiled broadly and gave his Gently Chastise Note a fond hug. Finding that notebook was the best thing that had ever happened to him.

Elsewhere, Light Yagami gazed out the window of his classroom and gaped, openly, as a Gundam fell from the sky and crash-landed in the middle of the school courtyard.

THIS IS THE SINGLE BEST THING I HAVE EVER READ.
