Ugh, yes. It seems like three-quarters of the fic in my main OTP's tag these days is this, to the point where I have to closely scrutinize the pairing list every time. I can understand it not being everyone's cup of tea, since one of the characters involved is...a little controversial, but I have to wonder if there's some internalized misogyny involved since it's a het pairing being broken up for slash. (Yeah, yeah, poor hetero tears, but sometimes with shit like this you have to wonder.)
