Ugh, I feel you nonny. As a Scott/Stiles fan, I've experienced this many times when I click on a fic tagged with Scott/Stiles, only to have them break up to make way for Derek/Stiles. Or worse, they'll make Scott abusive and have Derek rescue poor little Stiles. Um, what? I know fic isn't exactly true to canon but Scott abusing Stiles? I just can't see that at all, especially considering the latest season where Scott proves time and time again that Stiles is one of the most important people in his life and he would do anything for him.

Oh, Nonny, I feel you. Demonizing Scott is one of the most common ways to get Sterek in fic, and has been since I first started reading TW fic waaaaay back at the end of season 1, and it never fails to infuriate me. Seeing people do that in a fic that's tagged Scott/Stiles makes me want to choke someone.

Tbh, anyone who ships Stiles with people other than Derek have this problem.
