I'm not able to relate to this at all. it's no way its more okay to rape a boy than a girl, no way. If the creators thought they couldn't have a girl raped it's sick that they think it's okay for a boy. truly sickening.

OP

To be fair, the boys on the show have been anal probed by aliens before, but I don't think they've ever done it with a girl character. That might be where the hesitation is coming from and not from whether or not it's more or less acceptable to show a boy being raped than a girl.

I didn't say it was more okay to rape a boy than a girl. I said it was more likely to garner more criticism. It's equally horrible, but because of the real life prevalence of similar violence against girls and women, it would not be received the same way by reviewers and players.

Just think of it this way: would you rather have your game criticized for having no "female" character option, or for violence against women? One of these things is far more risky than the other. But you know what's not a risk, especially for a South Park game? Raping little boys with alien probes.

Yes, I hate that there's not equal outrage at the content too, or at least equal acceptance, but we would get more outrage if a girl character were subjected to it simply because of the imbalance of who this (rape and sexual violence, not alien probing) happens to in real life.

You're kidding yourself if you think that's why a female character wasn't an option. Matt and Trey do not give a single, sad, sloppy shit about what critics think.
