I think I mentioned it last time this topic showed up here, but when I first saw the promo pictures for "Frozen", I thought "oh cool, a Sami character" and then I went, "wait a minute, Disney is probably going for Generic-Scandinavian-Clothes and he's more likely supposed to be Danish or something".
If you want realistic and/or sympathetic portrayals of people who represent specific cultures, you look everywhere but Disney.

And then I didn't see the movie because (except for Beauty and the Beast) Disney didn't impress me even when I was a little kid, and now I'm in my twenties and have no need to watch dumb kids' movies.

(P. S. I'm calling Disney movies dumb and obviously for kids; I'm not calling kids' movies categorically dumb)
