(Anonymous) 2014-03-24 03:31 am (UTC)(link)I would not call it a special case, and yes, they could have made a different story, but I highly doubt it'd be easy to make a story with both a male playable and female playable character. That is the issue. Not even so much that there couldn't be a female protagonist, but because I don't know that there could be one at the same time as the male one. The dialogue, story, and character reactions would all be different if the protagonist was female. This is how South Park runs.
You were responding to a secret and a comment that very much was talking about the rules of the South Park world. If you want to talk about gender inequalities in the gaming industry, go right ahead. But don't challenge specific games unless you know a bit about them.
