Re: Walking distance

For me it depends on why I am walking. Generally I wouldn't want to walk more than 3 miles (I used to have to walk the 2.5 miles to and from work every day), but I once walked 7 miles home from a job. (At midnight which was kinda scary and very tiring.) If I had a choice, I would ideally not want to walk over a mile or so if I had to do something like work at the end of it (I take about 10000 steps a day at work, which is apparently about the equivalent of 5 miles, so adding to it sucks), if I'm wandering in the woods or a park or something, it's not as bad.
