Re: Walking distance

I walk pretty much everywhere in my hometown, and I'm trying to walk more and more at school. I'd personally put the mark around 30-45 minutes away on foot, but that obviously also depends on the route and whether there are sidewalks/major roads, that kind of thing. I was lucky to grow up someplace where getting around on foot or without a car in general is doable pretty much anywhere within town limits (and my family is super into walking), but if I had lived a couple towns over where it's mostly developments and shopping malls, not so much.

Weather and safety may also be an issue.
