I don't know who the guy in the picture is, but I sympathise with the notion. There are a lot of people, fictional and otherwise, who I think are just the bees knees, and I even admire their looks sometimes, but that's all it is, admiration, not a crush.

OoooOOOOoooh!

OP and Edmonds sittin' in a tree...

I don't know who Noel Edmonds is, but he is constantly referenced in Vicar of Dibley. What's that about anyway?

(Anonymous) 2014-03-27 02:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, Noel is a nineties celebrity, was pretty popular then with his own show and that's about it. I mean he's running that Deal Or No Deal lately. He's not really all that interesting, unless you're into the strangeness of wooly jumpers.

All I'm going to say is he was a Radio One DJ in the 60's/70's, therefore be prepared for disappointment.

I always liked him too, OP. Until recently, when he joined up with a cohort of foreign investors who have paid him to be their mouthpiece. Their angle? To talk the BBC into selling into the hands of private investors.

The BBC (disgusting old men aside) is doing okay. It doesn't need to be 'sold off'! Noel Edmunds, what are you thinking???
