But...if the fic is good wouldn't you be happy to see their name a lot? I can understand it if they spam with crappy writing or like 50 word "drabbles", but good fic is good fic.

Super curious about the names, ngl.

That's what I was thinking. If the work's good, then the more the merrier, right?

They don't have a lot of hits or kudos relative to the hits, so I'm not going to bother clicking on either one and in one case, the writer keeps spamming MY work with demands that I "put in more sterek" when it's not even a sterek fic. Fuck you, bitch. The world doesn't bend to your demands.

ayrt

I take back everything, yeah, fuck them. I am so appalled when people review with shit like "put more of my pairing, this fic is not catered directly to me and I do not approve!"

Carry on with your dislike of them, you have my blessing!

Different fandom, but it can definitely get irritating to see even a great author constantly. There's a great kinkmeme author who has been writing a gigantic plot-fic for almost two years, and one of those years they got so caught up in giving their adoring fans ANY updates that they were updating their fic in scenes rather than full chapters. And the exact same people would make the exact same comments or be shocked about the exact same crap and that stuff would hit my e-mail every two days for like eight hours. I still haven't gone back to actually catch up with that damn fic yet.
