Wheat beers would probably be more your bag, since I've only ever liked wheat beer or hard cider. They tend to have a lot less of that bitter hoppy flavor and taste more like bread and... oranges? I guess? Granted I'm basing this mostly off the few bottles of Blue Moon I mumped at that superbowl party, but they were surprisingly good.

Actually I haven't even tried bitter beers. The thing that gets me is that it's a liquid that tastes like bread. That really doesn't compute for me :-\
