Yes, it's all secretly about persecuting the mentally ill, not about rhyming schemes...

LOL what? That's...no. The idea is that Belle is an outcast and thought to be strange, not that she's mentally ill. Why on earth would they make a song that suggests that just for the sake of rhyming? I don't know if you've noticed, but songs in musicals tends to be about something that's relevant to character or plot.

The stuff about persecuting the mentally ill comes from the plot to, you know...toss her father into an asylum.
