Considering that nail polish remover is mostly alcohol and vodka is also mostly alcohol I think that's pretty accurate even without having to drink nail polish remover. (I find people really annoying who are bent on taking everything I say literally. In most cases "tastes like" is not to be taken literally but instead as "tastes like that thing smells". It's not so hard.)
