Completely destroying the system doesn't work, because all money has no intrinsic worth. It only has the power we give to it through believing it's worth something. The stability of the system is what gives money its worth.

If you wrecked that, governments would likely reject your terrorism and go on without you. Even if countries couldn't get their money back from you, they can always create their own new brand new currencies and distribute it out, if you completely destroy the system they used to have and make their old money valueless.

Then I take all the money from celebrities I dislike and hire assassins to kill everyone I don't like. I use the remaining money to pay off student loans and buy my family some houses.
