As a wee thing, when I read a scene in the Andalite Chronicles of Elfangor "expelling" (i.e. vomiting) his grass liquid rations after being sickened by something, all I could think was "how? where did it come out? his hooves? some other orifice? I need answers here". This has haunted me for years. I wonder about this kind of thing endlessly if it isn't explained.
