It's because it's a known fact the people who have been posting these type of secrets for these games post it to provoke the mentioned mod. Admittedly, she doesn't think straight when she's upset and it can lead to more drama, especially when the mod of another game that some of the original drama came from is just the same.

It's best for it to be categorized as a personal attack, just so both sides don't wind up being up in arms again.

Nah, they're both pretty good mods who run good games. They just don't get along with each other and outside parties try to provoke them into arguing with each other for shits and giggles. Having the secret taken down was just a way to avoid that and get the outside parties to stop provoking them both.

then they are pretty piss poor mods if they can't keep their shit together outside of their game when it comes to their game. there is more to being a mod in an RP than just modding the game. they set the tone. they are supposed to be impartial and above the drama and wank.

I agree, but that would require them dropping the confrontation attitude and behaving like mature human beings. I pretty sure one of them is incapable of doing that though.

And that particular mod of the game in the secret seems to thrive on the wank and the pity it gets her.

And this is exactly why it was a personal attack. You're attacking the mod by trying to disguise it as an RP complaint. I'm sorry you hate the mod and you are, of course, free to do so. But we get it already and stuff like that doesn't go in places like these.

If we're going to keep this up, I'm clarifying this to keep it all anonymous.

Mod A: Mod of the game the secret was about.
Mod B: Mod of the other game.

Just so we're on the same page.

They both are capable of dropping the attitude and have done so in the past. The problem is neither one can do that in regards to each other. Mod A doesn't like the wank and drama as much as Mod B hates it. Quite simply, they're too much alike.

Furthermore, the main problem is that because of previous drama Mod A will blame Mod B or Mod B will start getting defensive about the fact before Mod A even does anything, which will lead to more drama when the original problem ended months ago. Both sides are sick of it.

So, please, just stop it and move on.

Question: How are the Activity Checks insane?

You just have to do a thread once a month to pass them. How is that insane?

Probably the fact that even if one posts an entry a day in their character journal, if the player isn't involved in a thread for one reason or another he or she is "inactive". As a former player, that in particular drove me insane. I left for reasons not pertaining to wank, but I'm fairly sure that OP mouse still views the checks as militant.

Of course, one would have to ask OP mouse his-her-itself to find out the reasoning; I'm just commenting as a former player wishing to remain anonymous.
