It's called the guy chases nothing but skirts for the entire series. Because having 10+ heterosexual encounters and 0 homosexual encounters while traveling and sleeping with 3 other guys just screams bisexuality. Yes, Saiyuki fandom, I'm looking at you.

Actually... There's a point in the manga (if you'd like, I'll look up where for you) where Gojyo complains about not having got laid at all since the Journey started, so that would be 0 heterosexual encounters, too. And while neither Minekura referring to Gojyo and Hakkai as her favorite married couple in interview nor the fact that they spent two years living together in a house with only one bed make Gojyo's bisexuality "zomgcanon," I have to think that those things definitely put it solidly into "not outside the realm of possibility." Not to mention some of the Not Subtle subtext in Gaiden. Which, of course, is not to say that there's anything wrong if you don't see it or don't like it or whatever.
