I've discovered that I have no patience for daily hypothetical questions. They annoy me so. I did not know that about myself before FS!

I've also gotten some excellent book recs in a few of the threads we've had. Can't recall specifics but I do remember a PoC, YA, and Awesome Ladies rec threads that had some good ones.

Someone here mentioned Prequel in a secret and I read it. I don't quite keep up with it like I should, but considering I don't know a thing about Skyrim, I enjoyed it a lot.

A couple anime titles. K Project, Kuroko's Basketball, Yowapeda, maybe Free. I've really liked them all so that was great. Live action stuff is more hit and miss. Fandom March Madness gave me more live action titles.

Community*, Transmetropolitan**, approximately half the webcomics I read (including Homestuck), and way too many bands/singers/musicians to list here.

* Which is now one of my favourite shows.
** I'd heard of it before, but a comment on F!S convinced me to actually read it.

Fic recs from here tend to be of a higher quality than most (i.e. not a waste of time), so I've read a couple. There was a fic that was made up of extra scenes from Granada TV's adaptation of The Devil's Foot that was pretty good. That's all I can recall off the top of my head. I found two from the "first line of your fic" in the games thread yesterday, but those don't really count as fic recs, so.

Still meaning to give Rivers of London a chance. Every time I see dreemyweird's icon I remember LOL.

Some kind, wonderful soul linked the Nimona webcomic. It is a thing of beauty. I'm looking forward to more of the artist's work.

I just finished reading Bleak House today, and it was some comments on FS that introduced me to it/convinced me to give it a shot despite not having been overly fond of Great Expectations. I absolutely loved it, so I'm very grateful for that. ♥

Teen Wolf, I started watching it partly because of the threads on here about it and I ended up enjoying it.

The Batwoman comics, I'm pretty sure there was some talk on here about the Batwoman comics(both pre and post new 52) being quite good so I checked them out and was glad I did.

Oh, a ton of shit. Every time I've said "x totally sucks" people pour out of the woodwork to give me examples of it that don't suck.

Probably my favourite right now is Teppu.

Pacific Rim, Dishonored, Darker Than Black, State of Decay, American Horror Story, Orphan Black, Orange is the new Black (but lost interest), Teen Wolf, so many fanfics, Dan Well's books...

There are a lot of things I didn't DISCOVER through FS, but I decided maybe I should give them a shot after seeing them brought up repeatedly here.

Most notably Tiger & Bunny, which I decided I did have to watch, despite not having watched anime since about 2004, after I saw a particular secret about it and laughed my head off at the screenshot and wanted badly to know the context. But also the Zero Escape games, which were mentioned as being pretty good by someone I met IN T&B fandom, and then people mentioned them in the same breath as Ace Attorney over here, and as many people are aware, I do love me some Ace Attorney. ;)

Too many to list! If I am to distill F!S in regards to discoveries, it's that I learned that the world really is more than white or black.

Also, I think I exposed to a number of regulars here just how diverse my region is. :D
