I loved Shiki until the very end - did not like the last scene at all.

I hated the Shiki, especially Sunako. Couldn't sympathize with them much, especially after what they did to the village. None of the questionable/deplorable shit the humans did wouldnt have happened if not for them. She shouldn't have gotten away.

I liked the series, but the ending was meh. And I really would have liked to see Natsuno survive.

The ending was terrible. I like to forget about it and the series for the most part. I liked it, but after a while, it just started to piss me off. It has some great fanart though.
