I liked it, but the game changer thing can go two ways: Either it will suck in the future or it might be interesting.

And the second it happened I had to stop myself from going: Oh that is the Agents of SHIELD spoiler, HOLY FUCK! How will Coulson react.

And I am so pissed they made Sitwell a bad guy, seriously pissed... Not for any reason than the fact that quite a few fanfics are ruined for me now, not that I had any attachment to him in any big way...

I haven't read any fics with Sitwell featuring, but would they necessarily be ruined? He was after all dedicated to doing his job, even though he was one of the few who knew what underlay it, so in the day-to-day loyal shield agent Sitwell and not so good Sitwell would behave the same way.

I will say that Simmons tasing him is retroactively even funnier.

Not necessarily, but most of the fics where he is featured he is BFFs with Coulson or Barton and I can't imagine either of them being that happy about it. In my mind he was converted 5 minutes before the film started and that is my headcanon and I am sticking to it!

So, I haven't seen the movie and don't watch AoS, and I have to know... does this Sitwell character have all his hair? Do his eyebrows occasionally fall off into his drinks and/or food?
