If you're studying for your GED then you are taking a step to better yourself and get more education. That takes guts, brainpower, and willpower.

Fandom is something you should enjoy. It's not a college course. Making those connections is how other people have fun. You might have fun writing a ficlet or posting a amv, or something less scholastic. Either way, you should have fun with it.
