I will tell you something: I am getting a Bachelor's in Film and Television Studies, and I don't make those connections either and I am going to school being taught to analyze and see the depth and such in media...

Want to know about Soviet montage films or how to analyze a piece of media with a feministic or social theme, I am your (wo)man, but what a lot of people are doing in fandom I am completely 100% lost.
