Is that gif taken from a recent-ish DBZ movie or something? The animation in it looks better than it was in the tv series (or maybe it's just me)

It's from that OVA that was released a few years back, I think. Son Goku and his Friends Return or something. Or maybe from that recent DBZ movie.

Thanks! I'm kind of surprised that I hadn't heard about either of those (although it's not like I closely follow DBZ related news I guess) and I might have to check them out

It's called Battle of Gods, apparrently. Theres also going to be a oneshot aboyt Hoku's mother by Toriyama. You're welcome.

It is, I'm not quite sure which one all I know is that there's what looks like an egyptian cat-god in it. I've only seen screencaps and such so I'm not sure of the name.
