It wasn't aimed at little girls, of course not. I was under the impression it was aimed at adults. You know, adults in general. Even if it's specifically aimed at adult males that's not the same as being aimed at otaku. Otaku are a very small subset of adults. There's absolutely nothing to suggest it was aimed at them specifically.

Except, y'know otaku are what the late night anime is aimed towards. No one out the niche going to go out their way to watch a late night anime.

Lots of anime airs late at night and isn't geared toward otaku though, like basically everything in the Noitamina block.
