This. There is a balance between the "freegans" discussed upthread, and the "Let me show you ALL THE THINGS I GOT" materialistic mentality.

Which, IMO, kids should get cut some slack for...after all, they probably don't have any concept of money yet, outside of "pieces of paper my family gives me that I can exchange at the mall for ALL THE STUFF" which, to be fair, is common among kids.

TL;DR: I agree with stella_down, but I would be more inclined to give a pass to a little kid doing this.
