Dat 2048 game!

Also known as "the game where you join a block with one another and somehow it's addicting." Has anyone played it to completion yet? Also, what do you think of it being a clone of another game?

Other than that, any fandom versions that you like? I just spent up the night trying to finish the Night Vale and Paranatural versions.

I am so addicted. I stick to the Doctor Who version, because it's the one where it's easiest for me to internalize the progression of images.

Huh, that's the same reason why I play the Night Vale version, it's easier for me to see where the images "go".

I've gotten to the ninth level of blocks but I've been stuck there for days. And I don't want to jinx myself, but I've just passed my previous high score!

I'd never heard of this but I just lost half an hour to the Night Vale game. And I see from the other comment that there's a Doctor Who version so there goes my night!

Yeah, many times and I've managed to reach 4096. I guess it's theoretically possible to reach 8192, but it's going to take so long that I'm not going to try.

I haven't tried the fandom versions, and I don't think that I'd remember the right order for the pictures.

I actually find it easier playing the fandom versions rather than the original one. I find it easier to visualize images than numbers and how they combine.

Different strokes for different folks I guess.

Yes! I love that game. I haven't finished it myself, but the rest of my friends have, even getting past 2048 to 131072 and other ridiculous numbers.

As for being a clone of another game (I assume you mean the game where the devs wrote an angry open letter to 2048)....meh. Games get ripped off all the time, and they both have different aesthetics and slightly different mechanics, and personally I find 2048 easier to read. Plus it's free and online, so a different audience from the mobile version.

My favourite fandom versions are the Doge one and the Frozen one my friend made. The Doge one is responsible for many hours of wasted class time >.>
