Spoonflower?

(Anonymous) 2014-03-30 09:34 pm (UTC)(link)
One of my friends thinks I should put a design I made on spoonflower, and try to sell it as a fabric print. HAve any of you used spoonflower/know about it? Have you had any problems with it, or are their any pitfalls I should maybe be aware of?

I've only bought other people's designs from there and it was AMAZING. I order fabric and it's pricey so I have only bought from them a couple times but it is always worth the money. I'm too nervous about any of my designs not turning out right to upload my own, like I'd upload the wrong one or something or didn't size things properly :( I think it's worth doing though if you either really, really want the design yourself or if you think others would be interested.

My friend has used it to make printed fabric for cosplays and she really likes it!

There's guides out there for making sure your colours print out like they should (I think their black is a little lighter than most expect or something like that). Never heard anything bad about them that wasn't later fixed by Spoonflower, though.
