Episode titles on screen

(Anonymous) 2014-03-30 09:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Can people remember what shows did and did not show their episode titles on screen?

(In particular, does anyone remember about Buffy? My sister and I are disagreeing.)

Buffy did not, with the exception of Once More, With Feeling and some of the two-parters (where each part would be headed by a different writer, and the episode title they wrote would be specified in their writer credit). And possibly "Conversations With Dead People"; I seem to remember that one having some unusual text.

I think Millennium might've done it? But the only show I know that does it now is NCIS.

That makes sense given the type of show it is.

West Wing did.

Also I believe all shows should. Bring back title cards.

Buffy didn't generally but like previous anon said they did for some episodes. Sorry I didn't answer sooner, I've spent the whole day watching Buffy.
