April fool's

Tumblr's been rife with posts reminding people not to post 'screamers' or fake come out. I feel like if you're talking to the people who think that fake asking someone out is funny, they're not going to be stopped by a tumblr post.
But that's just my opinion. What does everyone else think?

I think that the posts warning people about sites that disguise what you're clicking are important because seriously, that's kinda shitty. People can be triggered by the noise, like legit medical triggers. You're not going to stop them but posting stuff to warn someone? yeah, that's a good thing IMO.

I don't really see those posts doing much because the types of people who would be doing those things probably wouldn't be following people who post those sort of reminders.

Ia it's not going to stop people, but passing the info for what sites do that stuff isn't a bad thing.

Fake asking someone out = a dick move, unless you know they're not into you and you're not into them and it's not going to illicit anything other than "what, are you drunk" or something

Fake coming out = I don't really have a strong opinion on this, but someone did it to me once. I was kinda freaked out for a bit but it was because I had a crush on him at the time haha whoops

When I was in 8th grade, someone fake asked me out on April Fools'.

That's all I could think about when I read this.
