Re: Most ridiculous "trigger warnings"?

Yeah, I don't think it's unreasonable to tag blood and gore. Even if you're not "triggered" by it, a lot of people don't want to see that stuff for obvious reasons. But I follow a lot of metal blogs, so I'm pretty used to scrolling down and, oh, there's Dead with his brains spilling out. Again.

My least favorite trigger warning is "food". Not diets, even, which could potentially trigger someone recovering from an eating disorder. Just...a post that says "Here's what I ate for lunch!" is tagged with a trigger warning for "food". If someone calmly discussing a sandwich is a trigger for you, you probably need to be inpatient. :/ No, I'm not exaggerating. That sounds like someone who's not prepared to function normally in society.
