I recall a few years ago seeing a picture of her and Matt Smith dressed like extras from "Love is a Battlefield" on Tumblr, tagged with something like "ALL HAIL OUR HIPSTER KING AND QUEEN."

So, hipsters are into the 80s stuff? IDEK why, I lived through them, and the clothes/hair/makeup was bad enough the first time around.

The music was better, but that's a small consolation.

tbh from the little i know about hipsters it seems like they take the most ridiculous things from every era and then mix it all into a hilariously mismatched hodgepodge. like, they got the 70s pornstache and/or sideburns, the 90s grunge plaid shirt, the 60s cardigan and flower skirt... i love it, it looks so silly!

So, they dress like homeless/third world people, when they are a bajillion times richer than that? Charming.

not really? i mean the things hipster wear are kind of ridiculous, but they're not wearing rags (if that's what you meant by comparing them to homeless people). and, um, i feel the comparison to third world people is in poor taste. are you really implying their clothes are ugly? (have you seen how people in congo dress, for example? they have really beautiful, colorful clothes.) idk, i just think that's kind of offensive (and i'm not one to use that word lightly).
