How was your day, f!s? Mine was fantastic because it's been about 65F and the sun is shining! Came home today for an appointment, got to spend time with my dogs (including my parents' new dog, who I just met), and took a nice long walk with them. :D

Very windy and in the 50s. It was 77 yesterday, and I wish we could go back to that.

Boring day at work, on top of completely failing to have motivation whatsoever.

But I'm about to leave to meet my boyfriend and hit up a grand reopening of a local gaming/comic store, so it's looking significantly up.

Sun was shining here! Unfortunately I was stupid enough to wear a coat today.
In my defence, the morning weather was quite shit.
Also, first april fools day that I didn't give a fuck about it.

Had a medical procedure this morning that required conscious sedation. Also been put on muscle relaxers and pain killers for the next couple of days. Actually, surprisingly, I made it through classes. But I've looked back at my notes, and they make no sense. Can't sleep for some reason, but feeling really loopy.

My day had far too many gastrointestinal incidents I don't think you really want to know about.

I found an uncommon doll that people are after in the MH fandom, so that's good!

Great. It's t-shirt and shorts weather over here, and there's only a few weeks to go before I get to move out of my current shitty apartment. Feels fantastic, man.

We had really weird weather yesterday: it warmed up quickly, by mid-afternoon it was brilliantly sunny and 70F, but at the same time we were having rain and thunder. And then the wind picked up and they actually put out a special advisory because it was gusting up to 53 mph, and it was that way all night. And today is windy and cold and around 45F.

Also, I've got this material to transcribe, a panel discussion, and it's supposed to be done in a hurry...but out of the 6 people in the discussion, the only one I can consistently hear is the moderator. I've spent almost 10 hours on it so far, and I've only done about 42 minutes of a 112 minute tape. And it has to be done by Thursday.

Amazing.

I found out today I've just been put in for specialist training. Now it still needs to be signed off by HR, because I'm literally not meant to get it at my stage of service, but my boss is pulling strings to make it happen and has a lot of sway.

So fucking hyped.

Actually, it's just past 7:48 am here and some people have just woken up. View looks cloudy, but considering the water rationing in my state it's a friggin' relief!

As for me, I'm waiting until lunch before doing any of my plans. Thank you new timetable!

Curled up on my couch due to period cramps most of the day and then forcing myself to work for the rest of it, so not the best. Though I decided to reward myself with some chocolate when I was finished at work, so that helped a bit at least!

And the sun was shining all day today, and that made me happy though I didn't get to enjoy it much. Happily, I think it's supposed to be about the same tomorrow, so fingers crossed!

it's windy here and rather weird.

80F here! It always goes from winter to summer :-\ but I was so tired of winter.

Spent two hours on the deck working on the next book idea, exercised two days in a row for the first time in a very long time, so all in all pretty good. I did waste some time reading crappy articles online, but I think I made up for that.

It was 80-ish here.

I helped my boss with a project that got dumped on him because herp derp dat department does everything! Then I turned what could've been a 4 hour segment into an hour and a half segment. Because I am badass like that.

Then a meeting I was dreading turned out better than I had reason to expect.

Then I found the perfect dress for my 10 year high school reunion. It's expensive, but I'm epic at financial management. And I want to turn heads at this fucking shindig.

Only down side of my day has been the crappy secrets. Other than that today has been great!

Despite some panic I made it to my disability appointment in time and I think it went well. The doctor thinks I have aspergers and in any case things seem like they'll go will for my case in general!

I went to Trader Joe's, which is always a treat. I am currently eating a falafel wrap from there that I am enjoying more than I expected to. None of my sites played any particularly irritating pranks today. People in my corner of the internet are being respectful and thought-provoking about Hannibal. And later I am going to go to Starbucks and write like a crazy person. Today has been a much better day than most I've been having lately.

Not terrible, but not great. My regular truck is in for repairs so I moved (most of) my stuff into a loaner truck. I keep feeling like I forgot something in my regular truck, like wondering if you left the stove on while on vacation but even worse, lol. More than that, it is abundantly clear that this truck was designed for people at least six inches taller than me. Like, the seat is proportioned wrong for me and I have to let my feet almost dangle in order to see over the dash. Thank God I can at least reach the pedals. I also hate the mirror setup. Adding insult to injury, the sound system is terrible and doesn't seem to play on all the speakers. Hopefully this will be a very temporary arrangement.

It has hella A/C though. That's quite something.

It was 81 here today!!! Which is amazing since we've had a really chilly winter for this part of the country. SPRING IS FINALLY HERE.

Had a treat today so... Men. The test tomorrow is gonna stick though.

Weather was 80F-wish. So that was nice even if it's always humid here.

Mine was pretty good! With only one class, I hung out with friends the rest of the time and hijinks ensued. It was also very warm, the main oval on campus was filled with people enjoying the sun for the first time this year.

I'm actually really happy because it seems they are finally releasing the Blue Sky podfic this week! Today they released the first trailer so my day could not be more perfect. :D

Talking about the weather, I feel kinda dickish complaining about mine listening to what others are saying; here I'm about 84 F°, but I absolutely hate hot climate, so I'm the other way around and feeling envious of people in colder climates. I'm sitting here without doing absolutely nothing and I'm already sweating from all my pores! >_
