There's nothing wrong about love as long as the two persons love each other and both want to be together.

It's probably that she's a sixteen year old girl and he's a twenty-five year old guy. At that point in time, an age difference like that is a big deal.

Age of majority in Japan is 20, only age of consent is 13. The girl might be considered legally competent to consent to sex, but she still isn't considered a legal adult. That can be a moral sticking point with some people, hence why I specified "consenting adults", instead of "consenting people".

Well, sure there might be a disrepancy in life experience and they might break up, but if the younger party is legal (I'm from Poland where it's 15, at the moment living in UK where it's 16 - I'm assuming it's 16ish in Japan depending on the area? Their national law states 13, but it doesn't apply when overridden by local laws. I think.), it's fine from the standpoint of the law (psychologically, it depends on the people). Most relationships I know have an age difference of 9 years ... MINIMUM (and nope, mostly the women are older).
