Yeah. A lot of people tend to assume autistic people are good at math for example or are just like savants.

Stereotypes like that ignore that some autistic people are better in other areas or don't have a'genius IQ' or are mild enough to be able to take care of themselves and live a fairly normal life.

You're right; the lecture was on autism tropes in media, not autism in real life.
