They also bring back characters too often.

I'm pretty sure it's because they realized they screwed up when they killed the character in the first place.

Whether it is a mistake or not, it completely destroys any suspense they might build up surrounding characters' deaths because if it's Dean, Sam or Castiel you know it's just going to be temporary anyway.
