+1 on the social media thing

"Threesomes/Foursomes/moresomes solve everything!" So sick of seeing this.

I also really hate how one particularly character [for an AU version of the characters] has pretty much taken over the fandom to the point of "If you don't do them this way then you're WRONG AND OMG OOC" if you do a different version of that AU, despite the popular not being canon.

SAME!! I swear it just gives people more of a reason to fap to something or they're just doing it for the porn. Poly-amorous relationships aren't nearly as easy as people seem to think they are.

Eh, for me it's not the porn/fapping that gets to me [I mean, people do that regardless and they over simplify relationships as a whole]. For me it's that they always do it in the face of people not liking a ship/ships, and seem to think it's either "Omg, perfect solution!" or that's it's any kind of witty [which...well no. It's not, particularly since it *has* been said so often.]

I do get what you're saying though, and you're right. I've been in a triad relationship, and it's a lot of work, and it's a shame people don't explore that more since it can make for some interesting stories.

Basically it just means three people. But yeah, that is the form the triad I was in took [and yes, I was the pin/pivot.]
