I skipped the XBox1 and am skipping the XBox One. Not bothering with the Wii-U, but I have a Gamecube and a Wii.

Because I'm a Metal Gear fan I kind of have to drink the Playstation Koolaid by default. But I don't mind, the PS3 is a great system and the PS2 may possibly be the best system ever made, with the SNES a close second.

I also play lots of PC games of course, but I think you already knew that ;)

Ah, I mostly played Nintendo and Playstation systems as well. But I would love to get an X-Box of some sort.

My favorite system is the N64 just because it has Ocarina of Time.

Skip the Xbox, get a PS3. Dollar for dollar it's the better deal -- better exclusives, as well as plenty of cross-platform games. It's a bit weak in the indie game department (XBLA has lots of those) but makes up for it with an extensive PS1 and PS2 library.

My sister's boyfriend actually has a PS3, I should just borrow it. I don't think he uses it all that much.
