But I always take my glasses off (in case of accidental water spray) so since I can't see, why have the TV? And besides, it's annoying! How can you see the screen when you see everyone and their tools about to get into your mouth. Wow that sounded dirty.

Well, anyway, my thought is, how can you watch TV when you're laying on your back looking at a bright light? not to mention the dentist's/oral hygienist's face and hands constantly hovering in and out of my field of vision.
My dentist likes to chat with his patients, which is a bit awkward. Not because he's awkward - he's nice - but because how can I talk with my mouth always wide open and things inside it...(yeah ok that can't not sound dirty)
