This is probably going to make me sound like a nutcase but I do think there's a specific way of writing about same-sex relationships, a quality that slash often possesses, that just has this kind of really powerful appeal that nothing else really does. Basically.

essentially what this comes from is me never really understanding the appeal of slash and then reading one story that just made me go "Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh"
