Putting my house back together. We put in new floors in our kitchen and living room and the majority of the house is now in shambles.

Upgrading. Our house is twenty seven years old, and had all the original flooring when we bought it two years ago. The kitchen and living floor were in the worst shape. There were bleach stains and stuff I don't want to think about ground into the carpet, and one (large) corner of it felt greasy to the touch no matter how many times I cleaned it. The kitchen cheapie vinyl tiles were peeling up all over the place, and the exposed subfloor was water damaged and gouged in places. But it's all beautiful and better now!
