(Anonymous) 2014-04-05 03:31 am (UTC)(link)I'm a Breaking Bad fan but I get this. Breaking Bad fans can be so fucking pushy about it. I think it's a great show but I totally understand why somebody wouldn't be interested. It's just not for everyone.
-Fandom was much more fun on places like LJ and internet forums. Screw Tumblr.
The first time I saw Tumblr, I was impressed but my feelings of Oooh cool! have really died down. I just don't feel the hodgepodge thing going on with all your fandoms smushed together like that (and for me, it's mostly Not My Fandoms people post about anyway).
Actually, I agree with just about all of this. Though I think the SPN fandom is less obnoxious now than, say, a couple years ago but I wouldn't really know cause I jumped ship.
