Generally, any Paint-type program will have, under the 'resize' or 'image size' menu, the option to view in inches or in pixels. So you can then make your image a certain #ofpixels x #ofpixels size easily.

It's easier than that!

If you're using Firefox, try right clicking the image and then click on 'view image info'. I assume other web browsers have something similar.

Ah. I was thinking in the course of making an image for here or similar. I only look at the size when i edit them, so - not in Firefox, as a rule.
