And the sad part is that he doesn't have to be - give him something to do other than stand around glaring at things and be the butt of either torture or offbeat humor. I loved him back when he was still teaching the baby werewolves how to live, and just because some of them are stronger than he is now, as a born 'wolf, he still has plenty to offer (like when he taught the twins what it takes to join Scott's pack). But no, instead, let's kill off everyone he can possibly mentor and make him Peter's bitch, sure, that'll work.
