Does Daniel Jackson "die all the time"? Exactly how many times DOES he die? Is the number of times he dies disputed because fans disagree about which times count as actually dying? (I've only seen a few episodes).

I thought it was more that he was assumed dead a lot of the time, not that he really died. But it's been awhile since I've watched the show.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_Jackson_(Stargate)#.22Deaths.22

According to this, four deaths plus a flat-line, plus some dead alternate reality/alternate timeline/robot double selves, and an incident where teammates were brainwashed into thinking they saw him die. It doesn't list several other incidents where they had reason to believe he was dead and he turned out not to be.

My love for the fact that there is a section of a Wikipedia page dedicated to Daniel Jackson's deaths knows no bounds. :D

This is one of those times where I really wish there was a "like" button here.
