I don't watch the show, but I need to ask: is this some sort of pun related to Hannibal *literally* putting her/parts of her into a fridge to save for later, or is this something else?

Oh no, I'm talking about her death being more about Will, Jack and Science Bros' pain than Bev herself. And Bryan Fuller saying that she was meant to die in season one and the only reason she didn't was because they audience didn't know her enough then so they needed to develop her more before killing her.

I don't think he saved anything btw, he ate her liver and put the rest on display.

this is a horror show above all. All the characters who are important are going to die eventually, other than the monster and the virgin (and then eventually one of them will die too).

Yes, I know. Why do people trying to defend it always use this excuse?

The Hannibal fandom was adamant about how this show was "different" from other horror shows, that's probably why people are disappointed that in the end it wasn't.

Aha, thank you. As I said, I don't watch the show, so most of my knowledge comes from FS and random blog articles. I normally wouldn't have asked, but Hannibal is one of the few shows where someone might get actually, literally stored in a refridgerator, so I wanted to clarify.

Well, in this case it was also literal.
