We have a much broader definition than you guys do which makes me question comparison without more complex comparisons.

(see also the fact that our rate of violence against the person is higher - it is, but not nearly to the same extent as it initially appears, because for example a robbery with only the threat of force, would cunt as violence against the person in the UK but not the US due to the way we each measure it)

Are you sure of that? According to Wikipedia, the U.K. does not legally define any act perpetrated by a woman as rape, nor does it legally define penetration with an object other than a penis as rape. (These can be crimes, but they're charged under other statutes.)

Depends on the report but generally yes.

(aware that assault by penetration etc is different, most statisitcs I've seen include them together but apparently not the home office, shit gets complicated)

But for a direct comparison

Time and again you prove that America and Americans exist for you only so you can be reassured that there's someplace in the world that's even worse than where you live. I'm very sorry you hate the UK so much that reminding Americans of the the worst their country is capable of doing to them comforts you. I used to listen to people like you and live in fear as an American, but I learned to overcome it. I hope you do too.
