I agree with what you say here, but the thing is, Mark and his brand of SJWs decide for themselves who is a minority and who isn't. They are the ultimate hypocrites and often dismiss "white-passing" peoples' issues.

To be fair, I haven't followed his site for a looooong time. I was all about it when he was doing Mark Reads Twilight and Mark Reads Harry Potter, and I followed him for awhile after that when he broke apart from buzznet and started doing his own thing. Even then people were attacking each other in the comments for not being properly sensitive, and in a lot of those situations I thought people were being SO overly sensitive that it then became spoiler-like, because they took an innocent, accidentally revealing comment and attacked it to the point that no one could read the thread and come away without realizing it was significant. I also sort of lost some sympathy when he and his commenters got all up in arms about people using the word 'crazy' and THAT IS SO OFFENSIVE YOU GUYS, IT STIGMATIZES MENTAL ILLNESS!!!! when it's almost never used to refer to actual emotional or mental problems.

At some point (around the time their sensitivity started to rub me the wrong way, probably) I lost interest and I have no idea what the site is like now. But I guess, in my mind, no matter what he and his people do to others, there's no sense in turning it back on him and saying that because he looks like he could be white, he's therefore not in the same situation as millions of other minority Americans who have non-white or non-American or non-Christian upbringings. If he's doing that to others, he's obv in the wrong... but turning it back on him is then just doing the thing that offended people in the first place.
